Material Recovery Facility (MRF)
Our Material Recovery Facility (MRF) is a cornerstone of our sustainability strategy. It is equipped to sort and process high-quality recyclables, diverting them from landfills and feeding Kenya’s growing recycling industry.
Key Highlights:
- 11.2% Recovery Rate: Significantly lowers residual landfill waste.
- Segregation at Source: We encourage clients to separate recyclables at pickup for improved efficiency.
- Hyperlocal Service CoverageTraceable Sorting Process: Ensures transparency and compliance.
We also lead the charge in organic waste recovery. Each month, we collect over 50 tonnes of plant-based waste for use in Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) farming—an innovative and eco-friendly way to manage organic waste, reduce methane emissions, and support circular food systems.
